Bharatanatyam-Dance

When I went to Chennai, India, for my Winter Break, I performed with the rest of my dance teacher's troop. The Tamil Nadu Small Scale Soap and Detergent Manufacturers Association were advertising their products, for this event my dance teachers troop were invited to perform. Here I did three dances, one solo, and the other two in a group. This is a community and action project. My solo performance can be seen in figure 1.1, and the group one in figure 1.2. I'm the person in the orange costume.

I worked collaboratively with others, I showed perseverance and commitment throughout the practices as I attended all the practices, and was also on time. Throughout the dance, I had to show many facial expressions, this is the first time that I had to in cooperate facial expressions in a dance. It was very hard to do this, as this was the first time. However I was able to do this successfully in a week. I developed new skills.
