SLMUN

SLMUN (http://slmun.org/aboutus/) is the Sri Lankan Model United Nations, which is going to held in Sri Lanka from the 8th of August till the 10th of August. I had applied to be in the Executive Committee and I got in. I applied to be in the Core Committee, for charing etc. (http://slmun.org/aboutus/exco.htm)

We have had several meetings, where all the pre-conference work needs to take place, the sponsors, planning for debates, charity work etc. We have discussed many things so far. There are 50 members in the EXCO. However, when we do work, we usually do it in our divisions, my division is the Pelawatte Division. I have made a lot of new friends and learnt how to collaborate with others. I've never been part of an EXCO in an MUN before, therefore this is a new challenge for me. A lot of discussing goes on, therefore, i've worked in collaboration with others.
