I wrote an essay in tamil for the papers advertising the light up carnival event:) This was a bit challenging as I do not practise writing in Tamil at home. However, with the help of my parents to proof read I managed to write the article. I've never written in Tamil before therefore I had undertaken a new challenge in doing this. This was an article inviting people to come to a carnival.This carnival was set up to raise money for Kumar Sangakarra's 'Bikes for Life' Initiative. To raise money to buy bicycles for children who have to walk hours to get to school in the North of Sri Lanka. Therefore it engaged with issues of global importance.
