Overseas School of Colombo was registered in the The British School Tournament. Here seven schools competed against each other. We were able to come finally as runners up.
This is the first proper match that I played. I learnt many tactics and real-life basketball skills from here. First I was a wing player, and then switched to the post. This made me undertake a new challenge and develop new skills.
I showed perseverance and commitment by coming to all the practices and was able to identify all my weaknesses in all the games so that I can improve for the next time, which I did. As this is a team sport, I also had to work collaboratively with others.
